Founded by engineer and inventor Mark Matheny, TEK Arms was built on a simple idea: create a true one-stop shop that takes a concept all the way to a finished product. From design through prototyping and manufacturing, the mission has always been to turn ideas into real, working technologies.

What started as an engineering-driven design and contract manufacturing firm quickly became known for solving complex technical challenges. Mark built a reputation for pushing boundaries and developing patented products and systems that exceeded expectations. Over time, the company grew into integrated electronics, RF systems, advanced manufacturing and proprietary technologies always focused on real-world performance.

As the team grew, so did its reach. Mark's daughter Alaina helped lead expansion into the security sector, developing lockdown, monitoring and tracking solutions for schools and municipalities along with defense technologies built for demanding environments. With engineer & gunsmith, Matt and other specialists on board, TEK Arms expanded into the civilian sector, offering precision machining, gunsmithing, Cerakote and related services.

At its core, TEK Arms pairs cutting-edge innovation with old-school principles: clear communication, hands-on problem solving and time-tested engineering and machining practices. Today the company spans engineering, electronics, security systems, tracking platforms, manufacturing, defense and civilian services… all driven by one mission: build smarter technologies that solve real problems while keeping people safe.
